Stage Fright

My nerves take over

Lights blinding my vision

I stand looking into space

With nothing to catch my eye

But suddenly I hear it

A single voice above the noise brings me back

I look up to see your face

Your sparkling blue eyes

It hits me

All of a sudden I begin to sing

With not a care in the world

After making my moment I hear the crowd’s cheer

Only one sentence can leave my mouth

I look down at you and say the words

You are the music in me
