The Silly Season

I’ve been on this earth for almost seventeen years and i still don’t get it.

WHY DO PEOPLE WAIT UNTIL CHRISTMAS EVE TO BUY PRESENTS??

The rush, the annoyance, the disappointment. We have known all year that Christmas is coming so why wait until the last minute. Sure gifts may be two dollars cheaper, and therefore helping us in this time of almost recession, but there’s no guarantee you’ll get what you want.

They all wait for hours on end, just to get a parking space at the local shopping centre, push through crowds as thick as black fog, and when they finally get to the desired store, the gift that is wanted…is gone. Sold to the man who just walked out of the store five seconds before you arrived.

Just do yourself a favour people, get presents in advance to save the rest of us from the grim fate of being trampled in the mall.
